Over the course of VBS week, our children of God dove deep into God's word each day with a new sea creature.  Everyday we learned new songs, crafts, games, and verses to help us understand the everlasting love of God. It was sand-sentational! As you click through, take a look at our awesome team and what we experienced under the water together.

6/16/24 DAY 1

Our buddy on Day 1 was Tad the Frog Fish and he taught the Bible Verse for the day:
"We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God." (John 6:69)
Bible Story
God shows himself to Elijah through ups and downs. (1 Kings 18-19)
We know God is a friend to all of us no matter what! here are some pictures of what went down in the ocean today.

6/17/24 Day 2

Day 2 was packed with fun and excitment as we got to meet our friend Finnley the Dophlin! He taught us how God is all so loving and gave us the Bible Verse of the Day.
Bible Verse
"Just as I have loved you, you should love each other." (John 13:34)
Bible Story
God shows compassion to the people of Nineveh. (Jonah 1-3)

6/18/24 Day 3

Day 3 was A BLAST as we bumped into our friend Fisher the Seal. He taught us some important lessons and even was kind enough to give us the Verse of the Day!
Bible Verse
"I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart." (John 14:27)
Bible Story
Jesus calms a storm. (Mark 4:35-41)
God is always there for us and we can go to him whenever and wherever.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

6/19/24 Day 4

Day 4 was filled to the brim with fun and togetherness. We had our annual water games and smiles shone through everywhere. Water you doing if you weren't at water games?
As we went scuba diving into God's love, we cruised by Waylon the Whale, who gave us the Verse of the Day.
Bible Verse
"I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying." (John 11:25)
Bible Story
Jesus dies and comes back to life. (John 18-20)

6/20/24 Day 5

Today was out last day with these amazing creatures and our journey came to an end with Octavia the Cotopus. She reminded us God is for everyone and was kind enough to give us the Verse of the Day.
Bible Verse
"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Lydia believes in Jesus. (Acts 16:11-15)
